Overview
The Administrative Assistant supports staff and provides general office support.

Responsibilities:
Administrative Support for Chief of Staff: Includes purchasing, general clerical support, errands, research, emails, document preparation, etc.
Office Support: Answering the door and phone; ensuring the proper functioning of office equipment and machines; miscellaneous office support
Weddings and Funerals: Collaborate with the Chief of Staff to coordinate with family, pastors, and staff

Qualifications/Experience Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant. Ministry office experience is a plus.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects. Anticipate needs, proven ability to work independently, detail-oriented.
Flexibility: Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and handle a wide variety of tasks with a calm and solution-oriented attitude.
Technology Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (required), and church management software
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact with individuals at all levels, including church staff, congregants, and visitors, in a professional and friendly manner.
Confidentiality: Must handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Team Player: A collaborative spirit and willingness to work alongside other staff members to ensure the smooth functioning of church operations.
Customer Service Orientation: Ability to represent the church well, with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
Spiritual Maturity: One who upholds a Christian lifestyle and has a growing relationship with God
Background: Able to pass a background check.

Classification
o Part-Time non-exempt, 20-24 hours a week. Pay range is $21-$23 per hour.
