CAMPUS BEAUTIFICATION PROJECT
Building on Our Legacy & Preparing for Tomorrow
“…Build my house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified, says the LORD.” Haggai 1:8
A LOVE LETTER TO PARKCREST
For nearly 75 years, Parkcrest Church has been a lighthouse in our community, a beacon of hope and a home for healing in a hurting world. It’s been our mission to have a front door that extends our welcome to anyone seeking community. We believe the patio is a portal into real connection, cultivating authentic conversations in a diverse community. It’s a place where “Hello” happens sooner and “Goodbye” lingers longer. It’s been our desire to create kids and youth environments where the next generation can grow and thrive.
Even with all the transition in our church over the years, one thing has remained the same, Parkcrest Church is alive, vibrant, and brimming with the hope of Jesus Christ and it’s our greatest dream to share that hope with the world.
I love this church. I love what we stand for. I love our commitment to the values that are shaping us, and I love that we are willing to sacrifice so that others can be touched and transformed by the Gospel. This is why I want to take a moment to build on this legacy while preparing for what I believe God has for us next. It’s time to invest in our aging facilities and make improvements to our campus so that beautiful and vibrant worship inside our house is reflected in our witness outside our house.
“…Build my house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified, says the LORD.” Haggai 1:8
Our church building is not just bricks and mortar; it’s a tool for ministry, a launching pad for outreach, and a welcoming home for all who seek to know and be known by Jesus. By improving our facilities, we are ultimately enhancing our capacity to reach and serve more people, to share the hope of Jesus Christ with our community, and to glorify God to every person, car, and bus passing by.
This is why I’m excited to introduce a special one-month giving campaign called: “I Love My Church.” This is a "beyond-the-tithe" gift, only for the month of August, designated towards campus improvements and beautification projects. Whether you give $5, $500, or $5,000, every single gift, no matter the size, is a profound statement of your love for your church and your commitment to our future.
Then on October 25 and 26, we are going to shut down our regular services for that weekend and invite our entire church family to participate in Beautification Projects! This will be a weekend of hands-on ministry, where we’ll come together to paint walls, plant trees and flowers, clean rooms, build furniture, demo some walls and upgrade our campus. It will be a tangible demonstration of our love for our church and prepare us for our 75th Anniversary celebration starting in 2026. More details will come once we receive all the gifts, but mark your calendar for our 'I LOVE MY CHURCH WEEKEND!’
For some, this is just another opportunity to practice generosity, for others this is an opportunity to exercise your faith. For all of us, it’s an opportunity to invest in the future of this church. My prayer is that you select an amount that strengthens both your faith and joy.
Thank you for being such a vital part of our church family. Your commitment, your love, and your generosity are what make this church so special. Let’s rally together, with hearts full of hope and a spirit of joyful giving, to make our campus a vibrant reflection of the beautiful, life-giving body of Christ that gathers within its walls.
With anticipation and immense gratitude,
Pastor Anthony

Our Giving Goals:
TIER 1: MUST DO’s GOAL: $50,000
This initial goal will allow us to address immediate and essential upgrades to our Worship Center, including painting, landscaping, repairs, and crucial electrical work. We’ll also make vital improvements to our campus and guest experience, such as clearer wayfinding signage and updating our street sign. Must Do’s are foundational improvements that ensure our building is safe, functional, beautiful and inviting.
TIER 2: LIKE TO’s GOAL: $100,000 (including “Must Do’s”)
Reaching this tier allows us to pursue additional projects that will considerably enhance our ministry spaces. This includes reimagining a new, dedicated space for our growing Junior High Ministry, lobby and restroom upgrades, and creating a small garden and park for our Parkcrest Kids and Preschool for greater ministry and nature discoveries.
TIER 3: DREAM TO’s GOAL: $150,000+ (including “Must Do’s” and “Like To’s”)
Every dollar raised beyond this mark will allow us to go after a list of desired improvements that would significantly improve our campus and advance our ability to reach and serve more people. These “Dream To’s” represent projects that will allow us to expand our outreach, enhance our community impact, and share the hope of Jesus Christ to an even greater extent. Imagine the possibilities!
